50 metres from the Karolinska Institute Center for Hearing and Communication Research major construction work is under way. Therefore the TMC STACIS active vibration cancellation system was installed. The vibration isolation starts at 0.6 Hz. The active band width is 250 Hz. Thanks to this system the Center can continue its research in a sound isolated room and execute measurements in the nanometre range. For further information, please go to www.fridberger.se.
